Alrihkh I wholeheartedly echo Mike DeGrazia’s comment. And I have to give Automaton a standing and enduring ovation for their excellent musical artwork. The conceptual pieces they’ve created tell the tale of an awakening Talos very convincingly, and very well. With great diversity of expression. They cast a heavy spell of ominosity. An outstanding album. Highly recommended, especially if you like heavy, psychedelic music. 8.5/10. Favorite track: Submerged Again.

about

What if Talos, the mythical metal giant of Crete and archetype automaton, awakens in the modern era to fight injustice and protect the innocent? This is the narrative of Automaton’s second full length release (due out on November 16th via Sound Effect Records), a carefully crafted concept album spanning 48 minutes in which Talos spreads pure catastrophe.
